Water flowed from the mountains – the spring is coming, promises Russian proverb. For the habitants of the modern Russian cities spring stopped to bring the vernant waters long ago, but instead it packs the streets with mud, debris and sewages. People are strung out about environmental pollution all around the world. Over time, this problem has become global. The magazine “Food Promotion. Prod&Prod” is actively developing the nature ecology’s topic. The new issue of the magazine is preparing for a major exhibition “Rosupak”, that is why the magazine is paying much attention to the packing industry. As the magazine’s editorial staff notes, according to rough estimates, the fraction of food packing in the total amount of household waste works out one-thirdapproximately. It is worth to fall into a muse that the most types of plastic used to produce packaging material, are decomposing for 100 years. The ecologists togetherwith the manufacturers offer specific ways to reduce the severity of these polymers. One of these methods is practice of the self-destroying products. The production ofbiodegradable plastics is developing quickly in the countries with a post-industrial business life. There is a considerable lag in the development of these technologies In Russia, although some improvements have already emerged. The theme of green packing is in the focus of the new issue of “Food Promotion. Prod&Prod”. The periodical supports this topic, directing the food and packing industry to the environmentally-clean packing. The Government worried about environment conservation in recent years seriously. One of the most important steps towards the evolution of responsibility for the environment has become the development of social-informative program “Approved by nature”. The fund “National Initiative”, as the initiator of the program, pays special attention to use bio-products in the industrial production, including the food industry. The fund “National Initiative” brings into effect social programs, covering current social issues, as well as helps to deal with a problem of public safety, entrepreneurs’ help, and energy savings, it also aims to raise the legal and financial literacy of Russians. Since March 2011 the Fund “National Initiative” with the support of The Public Chamber, the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment of the Russian Federation, non-governmental associations and unions in the region has been implementing the program in the major cities of Russia. The main aim of the program – is drawing attention to the use of biodegradable chemicals and washing mediums in various fields of production and life. According to the marketing researches, almost 52% of Muscovites are willing to pay more for environmentally friendly products. However, the products can be considered such only in that case, when during its production non-harmed for the environment technologies materials were used, including biodegradable washing andcleaning substances. As the magazine’s editorial staff notes, high efficiency of such substances has already proved, even in small concentrations: - they have cleaning and disinfecting effect simultaneously; - they remove the residual smells from food; - they have high potency when fats are dissolved, burnings, milk, beer, wine rocks and mineral deposits are removed; - they contribute to the speed and efficiency of washing. There is no doubt that the social-informative program “Approved by nature” of the Fund “National Initiative” - is only the beginning of the way to a healthier and cleaner future. » |
